You may have seen our recent article examining how many people are unable to access digital mobility services because they lack access to the technology that is required (e.g. a smartphone) or don’t know how to install an app (https://www.dignity-project.eu/2021/09/09/how-many-people-are-unable-to-access-digital-mobility-services/). We found that nearly half of the general population and over 85% of those aged 65+ are unlikely to be able to access a digital service that requires a smartphone app to be installed.

What do you make of these results? Do they match up with what you have seen in practice? Do you have suggestions for ways to address this exclusion?
